The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 723 out of 1,655 Registered Electrical Engineers and 690 out of 1,953 Registered Master Electricians successfully passed the Electrical Engineer Licensure Examinations given by the Board of Electrical Engineering in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo and Legazpi this April 2012.

Rolando Mendoza – Quirino Grandstand Hostage Crisis 2010

Captain Rolando Mendoza, a highly decorated former Senior Police Officer who was relieved from his post due to an extortion and robbery complaint against him took Hongkong tourists into hostage, Monday August 23, 2010 inside the Hong Thai tourist bus in front of the Quirino Grandstand, Manila.

After 10 hours of hostage drama, 7 hostages and the gunman himself were killed and 18 survived, 1 civilian and an officer injured.
