Registration for the July 2010 NLE, Now Open

The PRC announces that the registration for the Nurse Licensure Examination on July 3 and 4, 2010 has started already up to April 14, 2010 for the repeaters and May 14, 2010 for the first time examinees.

The required documents are:

  1. Duly accomplished Nurses’ Application Form (NAF);
  2. NSO issued Certificate of Live Birth;
  3. NSO issued Certificate of Marriage (for married women);
  4. Transcript of Record with scanned picture and remarks: “For Board Examinations Purposes”;
  5. Record of OR-DR Cases (for 1st timers only);
  6. Summary of Related Learning Experience – (for 1st timers only);
  7. Four (4) pieces passport size (1 ½ x 1 ½) colored picture with complete name tag in white background;
  8. Community Tax Certificate;
  9. Examination Fee of P900.00;
  10. One (1) window mailing envelope; and
  11. Valid Identification Card.

Applications can be filed at PRC Manila, PRC Regional Offices and its satellite offices. For those who intend to file in Manila, filing may be done at the PRC Central Office located at P. Paredes cor. N. Reyes Sts., Sampaloc, Manila or at the PRC Service Center in EVER Gotesco Mall – Recto Branch. One day campus processing of applications may also be done in some schools which will be scheduled according to zones. The venues and dates will be announced later.

February 2010 Result of Nurse Licensure Examination

Out of 94,462 Nurse who took the Nurse Licensure Examination last November 2009, only 37,527 nurses passed the examination. Only 39.73% of the takers who passed the exam. The lowest percentage so far.

The results of examination with respect to sixteen (16) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examination.

Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 2 pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 1 piece 1” x 1” picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps, and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession; and to pay the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2010-2013. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The oathtaking ceremony of the successful examinees in the said examination in Manila as well as the previous ones who have not taken their Oath of Professional will be held before the Board on Monday and Tuesday, March 8 and 9, 2010, with morning (8:00 A.M.) and afternoon (1:00 P.M.) sessions at the SMX Convention Center, SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City. All must come in their white gala uniform, nurse’s cap, white duty shoes, without earrings, hair not touching the collar and without corsage.

Oathtaking tickets for the National Capital Region (NCR) and nearby regions will be available at the Philippine Nurses Association (PNA) at 1663 F.T. Benitez Street, Malate, Manila, starting Monday, February 8, 2010 on a “first come first serve” basis.

Nurse Licensure Examination 2010 Schedule

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that the scheduled 2010 licensure examinations for nurses has been move:

  • From June 2010 to July 2010
  • From November 2010 to December 2010

The deadline of filing of application for the said examination will be on:

For July 2010 Nursing Board Exam:

  • Repeaters – April 14, 2010
  • New Applicants – May 14, 2010

For December 2010 Nursing Board Exam:

  • Repeaters – September 8, 2010
  • New Applicants – November 8, 2010

Nurse Licensure Examination Registration Deadlines

The PRC (Professional Regulation Commission) announces the deadlines for filing applications for the November 29-30, 2009 Nurse Licensure Examination or NLE as follows:

  1. First Time Examinees – October 16, 2009. Examinees can file the application at the designated school sites and at the regional offices.
  2. Repeaters – September 16, 2009. Examinees will only file the application at the PRC Central office and at the regional offices.

The PRC also urges the applicants to file early to avoid any heavy turn out during deadlines, and that they should submit complete documentary requirements.

The PRC also informs that the Nurse Licensure Examination Application Forms can be downloaded at the www.prc.gov.ph.

Deadline for Filing of Application for the November 2009 Nursing Board Exam

Based on the 2009 Licensure examination calendar of the PROFESSIONAL REGULATION COMMISSION (PRC) the deadline of filing of applications for the November 29-30, 2009 (Sunday-Monday) Nursing Board Exam are:

  1. NEW / FIRST TIMERS – SEPTEMBER 16, 2009
  2. REPEATERS – OCTOBER 16, 2009

Filing for the Nurse Licensure Examination or Nurse Board Exam
is now on-going in any PRC offices in different regions here in the Philippines.

Nursing Graduates, Ready For NLE

More or less 80,000 Nursing graduates are now ready to take the Nurse Licensure Examination this coming June 6 and 7, 2009.

Manila has the biggest number of examinees with 42,338, followed by Baguio, 11,336; Cebu, 6,948 and Davao, 4,069.

In remote Jolo, there are 635 nursing graduates who will take the exams, Sto. Tomas said. (source)
