Jemaah Islamiyah Leader, Marwan, Killed in the Philippines

On Thursday, February 2, 2012, the Philippine authorities claimed that Marwan is one of the 15 Muslim militants killed in an airstrike made by Philippine forces in the Jolo Island. The target of the air strike is the Philippine-based Al Qaeda-linked Abu Sayyaf group.
