It was a big surprise when Ricky Hatton finally retired from the “Battle of the East and West” against Manny Pacquiao. I really thought that the fight will go on up the 10th round. But I was wrong.

In the few seconds of the first round, I could already tell that Manny will TKO Ricky Hatton in early rounds, especially when Ricky went down the canvas just few seconds after thinking of this thing. Then on the late first round, another knock out happened.

I know, Ricky Hatton was surprised of the speed of the Philippine boxing star. And by the second round, Ricky Hatton failed to cope up. Ricky Hatton was badly lying in the middle of the ring.
