The Chinese government asked Google to disable search features in its Chinese search engines that made available Western porn websites and other websites considered as inappropriate (gambling, and websites that contains vulgar contents) to Chinese users.

It was not however the first time Google experienced censorship order from the Chinese government.

But it’s the latest move of the Chinese Government on their effort to block inappropriate contents to the Chinese internet users.

The announcement of the Chinese Government that all PCs sold in China should have installed with the special software that blocks inappropriate websites to children in China caused a stir.
