Explore the Moon through Google Earth

Exploring the earth’s natural satellite, the moon, is now cheap and easy. You don’t need to ride a rocket and be dropped on the moon. What you just need to do is open your Google Earth software and in just one click, you’re already on the moon.

It’s actually a new feature that has been included on the Google Earth added to the previously available features Sky and Mars. It is launched in connection to the 40th anniversary of moon landing by the Apollo 11 crews and is making use of the high resolution photos taken by the Apollo 11 mission.

And with just few clicks, you can already see the craters of the moon, the earth as seen from the moon, the things left by human in the moon and a lot of other things.

But did you know that a lot of people doubted the moon landing? They said that it was not real and was just videotaped at the Arizona ground as if filming for movie.

But people behind the moon landing defended that that was for real.
