I accidentally stumbled an article written by Mr. Perez which explains why the writer and other boxing fans and fighters are not impressed with Manny Pacquiao.

First, they argue that Manny Pacquiao is not that really good fighter and is not the real poun-for-pound fighter because if he really is, then why does he have to force the best fighters in boxing to come down to his catch weights to fight him? There’s no wonder why Pacquiao won the fight against De la Hoya, Ricky Hatton, and Diaz. It’s because these fighters decreased their wieghts and has weakened.

Second, Manny Pacquiao avoided the rematch against Juan Manuel Marquez. Why? Well, it’s because Pacquiao doesn’t want to be beaten by Marquez.

Third… It might be true that De la Hoya and Hatton are good fighters but Pacquiao faught them during the decline of their career and strength. So, the writer asked: So if you’re the pound for pound best fighter in boxing, like many people seem to think Pacquiao is, why did he fight Hatton rather than Bradley, Holt, Maidana and Witter.
