Manny Pacquiao fans just after the fight agaisnt Miguel Cotto, shouted and wanted their idol to fight the former Best P4P boxer, Floyd Mayweather Jr. Then Manny Pacquiao’s camp and that of Floyd Mayweather were on talks and the megafight seems possible.

But Floyd Mayweather Jr scared of tainting its professional boxing record with a loss from Pacquiao. His camp knew that Manny Pacquiao wouldn’t agree of the olympic-style drug testing process. So, they used it as an excuse so Mayweather can avoid Manny Pacquiao.

On January 5, 2010, camps of Mayweather and Pacquiao met in the office of retired federal judge Daniel Weinstein in Santa Monica, California revive talks between them mediated by the retired judge.

Manny Pacquiao agreed to be tested 3 times including the test right after the fight. But Mayweather insisted  the random drug testing and refused the proposal of Manny Pacquiao.

Whose to blame of the death of the Pacquiao vs Mayweather fight on March 13?

It’s obvious…. Mayweather.

I understand why Manny Pacquiao don’t want to undergo a random blood drug testing especially if it is done right before the fight.

But I couldn’t understand why Mayweather didn’t agree with Manny’s proposal when in fact a blood-drug testing will be done right after the fight. I think, drug test right after the fight is enough to catch a cheater who uses Performance Enhancer drug.

In a last-ditch effort to save the proposed March 13 megafight between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather, representatives of both fighters will meet Tuesday in the office of retired federal judge Daniel Weinstein in Santa Monica, Calif., to try to revive talks between the sides through mediation.

Megafight off; Pacquiao very mad

Manny Pacquiao was disenchanted and enraged when told that Floyd Mayweather Jr. decided to walk away from their March 13 super fight at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
