There were times that I want to believe what Mayweather said that Manny Pacquiao was the one who wanted to avoid fighting him by turning down his request of an olympic-style drug testing.
However, there are also reasons why I should think that it’s Mayweather Jr who was afraid of fighting Manny Pacquiao. Remember that Floyd Mayweather Jr rejected a supposed $8,000,000 prize if he would fight Antonio Margarito whether he would lose or win.

It is reported that Floyd Mayweather Jr suffered injury while in training.
These news makes most of the boxing fans to believe that the Mayweather vs Marquez fight on July 18, 2009 will not happen. We don’t know if the injury of Mayweather is real but it seems that Mayweather’s camp is not interested anymore to continue the deal against Marquez. Besides, the sales of the ticket for the July 18 fight seems so low.
