Most of the people who are criticizing the blog voting of the Iglesia ni Cristo are Catholics. Now, I wonder what will be their reactions to the plans of the authorities of the Roman Catholic Church here in the Philippines to vote in bloc on the 2010 Presidential Election.
People are confused of the news because a newspaper reported that July 27 which is an Iglesia ni Cristo day, is a non-working holiday and then other reports said that it’s a working holiday.
The Malacañang clarified that the Iglesia ni Cristo day or the 27th of July is declared by the government through the law (Republic Act 9645) signed by President Gloria Macapagal-Aroyo this June 12, 2009 as a special working holiday.
In other words, workers have to work without any additional compensation.
